Correct labels
Container or packaging of the quality wax melts should have safety labels. Because, Safety labels warn you about potential risks while using this product. These labels should have hazard and precautionary statements, pictograms and a list of sensitisers or any other ingredients that contribute to products classification. If wax melts don’t have this label, it means that the manufacturer does not comply with REACH and CLP regulations. Possibly maker/seller haven’t assessed their products for any potential risks that could occur while using the wax melts.
Burn-time
You can find the burn time of the wax tart on the outer packaging, the container label or the website. Because of the nature of the wax melt, different environments, breezes and other factors, wax melt burn time is usually indicative and vary up to 10%. For example, if wax melt burn time is 10 hours, burn time may vary from 9 to 11 hours. All quality wax tarts should have this information.
No scent
