Sweet Orange and Spearmint bring the lift, Lemongrass and Sweet Basil the herbal heart, and Cardamom and Cedarwood a warm, woody close.

Lemongrass helps clear mental fog, while Sweet Basil and Sweet Orange lift the mood and sharpen focus. Cedarwood and Cardamom settle the edges and Spearmint keeps it awake. The one for a kitchen that needs waking up.

1. Clean your empty Snug Scent jar. Wash and dry it thoroughly, then wipe the inside base so it is clean and completely dry – this helps the refill stick properly.
2. Unwrap the refill. It arrives wrapped in protective paper. Unpack it carefully.
3. Remove the protective layer underneath. Flip the refill over and peel away the layer to reveal the adhesive pad.
4. Place and press into your jar. Centre the refill in your clean jar and press gently so it sticks securely to the bottom.
5. Light and enjoy. Trim the wick if needed and enjoy your refreshed candle.

Tip: if any moisture is left inside the jar, the adhesive will not grip – make sure the base is fully dry.

On the first light, burn for at least 2 hours and no more than 4, letting the whole surface melt evenly. That first burn sets the pattern and prevents tunnelling, which wastes wax down the sides and shortens the life of the refill.

Before each use, trim the wick to 5-10mm. It keeps the flame small, stops the wick mushrooming, and gives you the full 35 hours rather than burning through it quickly.

Every refill is poured with the same natural soy wax and pure essential oils as the candle it replaces – no paraffin, no phthalates, no synthetic fragrance and no soot. Soy is sustainable, biodegradable and burns longer than conventional waxes, and the cotton wick keeps the burn smooth and even from first light to last.
