Hello, I’m Rita. For over five years, I worked in an oil industry lab. Day in, day out, I saw firsthand the effects of our work – not just on us workers but on everyone around us and on our environment, too. It wasn’t good. In fact, it was downright bad.

Yes, all our products are suitable for vegans. None of our products was tested on animals at any stage of production, and therefore, they also are cruelty-free.

We don’t have anything to hide. That’s why you can find the complete ingredient list by scrolling down to ‘SAFETY INFORMATION’ on each product page.

Nope. None of our products contains paraffin or other petroleum ingredients, like synthetic fragrances, dyes, glitter etc.

Although our products contain only natural ingredients, they sometimes pose risks. There are a lot of opinions and articles written that indicate some essential oils are harmful to animals. Still, as we have never tested any of our products on animals, we can’t confirm or deny them.

Suppose you already got or are considering getting one of our lovely scented products. In that case, we always recommend seeking some professional advice from your vet or an animal specialist.

We make every single candle, wax melt and reed diffuser by hand in our studio in Kent. The whole process is done in-house by the Snug Scent owners.
