How to Use the Lavender & Ylang-Ylang Candle
For the first use, burn the candle for a minimum of 2 hours and no longer than 4 hours. It’s essential to allow the entire surface to melt evenly to prevent tunnelling, which can lead to wax build-up on the sides and reduce the candle's overall burn time. Avoid burning for longer than 4 hours as it may cause the wick to slant or move. Correct first-time use ensures a slower, more even burn for future use.
Before each use, trim the wick to 5–10mm. This helps control the flame size, avoids ‘mushroom’ wicks, and ensures the candle burns efficiently without burning too fast.
Sustainable packaging
At Snug Scent, we're committed to sustainable, eco-friendly practices. Therefore, our candles come in reusable/recyclable glass jars with aluminium lids and recycled paper labels. Candles are wrapped in compostable/biodegradable white tissue paper to protect jars from scratching. Then the wrapped candles are securely packed in a cardboard postal box filled with a recycled paper filling or biodegradable chips. Plus, the box is secured with tape that is 100% recyclable.

Never leave a candle unattended. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Do not place candles in a draught. Don't place candles near a source of heat. Keep the wax pool clear of matches and debris. Do not move a burning candle. Always snuff out the flame. Do not blow it up. Never use liquid to extinguish a flame. Do not allow the candle to burn out completely. Never use a candle as a night light or while you may fall asleep.
